The Gullah people of the Sea Islands of South Carolina have preserved ways of life and speech from West African slave culture and plantation times. Robinson, a native of Daufuskie, one of the islands, writes that "most of our food came from the land-and water-around our tin-roofed home." Introducing most recipes are reminiscences of loading the wood stove, trips to the store, fishing for sheepshead, washing clothes on a washboard and cooking "long pots" (slow-cooked meals). Since I already taught myself Cajun/Creole/Caribbean cooking 33 years ago, I ordered this book to better prepare for my upcoming trip to the Low Country. Sallie's stories preceding each chapter and many of the recipes really make this a worthwhile purchase and enjoyable reading. I can understand the phonetic dialect phrases, but would have a great deal of trouble understanding the spoken words in their thick Low Country accent.The recipes in this book are strikingly similar to those found in south Louisiana, except that Cajun adds lots of spices and Creole adds wine. As a cookbook for someone just starting to learn how to cook on a budget, I highly recommend this book. Just remember that one can always add pepper but can never take away once too much is added. I really appreciate these recipes being presented in their basic original form. Call it bland, but limited budgets and kids who complain of spicy food tends to keep cooking very simple. Once one starts experimenting and getting fancy, they risk cooking disasters that will never make it to the finest tables in gourmet restaurants. However, I doubt that gourmet chefs eat their own mistakes as I did to teach themselves to never try certain things again. Parts of this book even taught me a few things that I never knew.I also lived off of the crabs and fish that I caught back in 1985 and Sallie goes one step further to describe which fish to find in each season. (And now to give back, crabs come out from the mud anytime the temperature goes above 58 degrees Fahrenheit). Nothing was wasted or thrown away on Daufuskie and I feel the same way in my own cooking. This is true recycling. For organic farming, they used the charcoal ashes instead of pesticides, which is much more natural. It looks like the Gullah people of the Sea Islands were light years ahead of this "modern" world.

My trip inspired me to want to learn southern cooking. I previously purchased a Gullah cookbook when I visited the Gullah Festival in Beaufort, SC, and when I returned, my neighbor showed me her copy of Gullah Home Cooking the Daufuskie Way. I read the introduction by Pat Conroy who was the teacher who went to Daufuskie to teach the island children and the author of this cookbook was one of his students. I'm still learning to cook the Defuskie Way, but will try more of the recipes. Good book for those who like to try new recipes for old favorites. Please see my review for The Water is Wide.

I loved the stories. I loved the recipes. The first time her Mama left a live chicken under a crate and told her to kill and cook it by herself. Mama had business elsewhere and wanted supper ready when she and her Daddy came home. She remembered that Mama grabbed the the chicken and swung it around to kill it. She grabbed the chicken by the feet instead of the neck. The chicken freaked out and started flapping violently. She got scared and let the chicken go. The chicken ran into the woods.

This is more than a cookbook...it's a storybook! There is so much history of the area and of great home cooking Gullah dishes. Sallie Ann Robinson knows how to tell a story to go with her recipes, that is for sure!!! I love Southern cooking but Gullah cooking is somewhat different because these folks had to grow, harvest and cook their food as well as hunt and fish on a daily basis. They truly appreciated the land they lived on and treated it with respect. If you are looking for a good down home cookbook with a history lesson, too, this is the book for you and your friends!!!

Recipes are simple and full of culture. You can learn a lot from the stories about that time period. If you like food and history, get it.

I first read this book about 10 years ago. I checked it out from my local library in Greenville SC. I loved the little stories she told with the recipes. One day I was talking with my friends about the things I learned from her cook book and how I wish I had my own copy. One of them suggested I look for it on Amazon. I was so very happy to find it on here and order my very own copy. I recommend that if you love true southern cooking, that you get a copy of her cook book!. It definitely feeds your soul. The seller himself was quick and while the book was used, it was in great condition.

One of the best seafood recipe collections I've found in a long time. Whiting, shark, trout, conch, and of course oysters, shrimp, and crab, they're all here, Gullah-style. Many other amazing recipes that aren't overly delicate or difficult to prepare. Classic cookbook.

Being from Louisiana and using the Old Black Pot Series, Gullah Home Cooking is a welcomed addition to traditional cooking and is a added treasure to my collection. The recipes are great and I got a history lesson the the Daufuskie Island people and their way of life. When all that is incorporated into the book the meals are extra special. A special thanks to Sally Ann Robinson.

You might think the book would be lightweight and predictable, but the story goes beyond expectations and really resonates in today's world of intolerance. The book also elevated me spiritually. Kareem's skill as a writer, and hard work to get at the truth of his relationship with Coach Wooden is evident. I first read about Coach Wooden in the 1980s and came to appreciate his work ethic, honesty, and leadership. And I also had a lot of respect for Kareem, first watching him play for the Lakers, and then his later success as a historian and writer. So, I knew the book would be worthwhile, but it went beyond those expectations: two people from different races, different religions, and different parts of the country, several decades in age difference, and they come together with mutual respect for each other, a teacher and his student, and both learn from each other for a lifetime. I definitely feel inspired and enriched after reading this book.

Books about John Wooden should be required reading. You always come away learning something. What I enjoyed most about this one is how Kareem demonstrates how 2 thoughful, well intentioned people can have different views based on their life individual experiences, and be able to learn from each other's perspectives.

I've followed Kareem since he was Lew Alcindor in college. While one of my all time favorite athletes I'd always perceived a type of radical-ness that acted as a bolder, disrupting water in my river of perception. This book pulverizes that bolder. I believe it was misinterpretation on my part.I've read nearly all of the books written on Coach. Kareem tells stories I've never heard before. This is a special tale about two people's lives that intersected for decades, each having a profound effect on the other.

I just finished reading the E-book version. I couldn't stop reading it. OUTSTANDING. Thank you Kareem so much for sharing your times about a wonderful man to us.

Kareem Abdul-Jabber is an amazing writer. His respect and love for Coach Wooden is movingly communicated in this awesome book. Coach Wooden is shown to be a man who had flaws but never stopped trying to be a better person and trying to instill strong principles and values to others during his amazing life! Mr Abdul-Jabber tracks the growth of his personal experience with Coach Wooden from his being coach to his enduring life long friendship!!! Great insight from one of the greatest players of all time who is now one of the most thoughtful writers we have today!!!!

My eyes filled with tears at the end of this book. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did such a fine job of capturing the profound importance of his relationship with John Wooden that I shared his grief when Coach dies in the final pages. Abdul-Jabbar always struck me as a fiercely intelligent, complex and thoughtful guy. But his often stoic public demeanor prevented me from realizing how deeply sensitive, introspective and warm he is as well. This wonderful book put an end to that. It is brimful with emotion, often self-effacing but always remarkably candid and open. Both of these remarkable men factored heavily in my basketball fandom. That the most important dimensions of each of them are not actually directly related to their prodigious accomplishments on the court is remarkable. That the unique and life-long friendship they forged transcends all of it is, too.

Like many sports fans, I admired the long, successful careers of John Wooden and Kareem Abdul Jabber. What I didn't know is what is revealed in this book: the nature of their friendship, a friendship that can be a model for all of us to strive for.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar is one of our most intelligent athletes ever and has always followed a different drummer. Now a committed author with books and opinion pieces in papers like The NY Times. As a fan of John Wooden I had to read this book with low expectations. They were FAR exceeded.Jabbar is a very good writer and has quite a story to tell. How could a thin, tall athlete with left leanings maintain such an intimate relationship with a much older, conservative MidWesterner? How could these two opposing personalities meld until Wooden was in his 90s? And how could this amazing athlete write such a touching, compassionate story of the love and respect shared between Jabbar and Wooden? It's all here in these pages. Abdul-Jabbar was a GREAT basketball player, clearly intelligent. Most don't get a great chance at a second career. But Jabbar is a great writer/activist that deserves our attention. He's led an interesting, reflective life.Truly a special book that I could not recommend higher.

This has been a go to for me when it comes to celebrations. My husband is Pagan and I was raised Catholic. I honestly had no idea when it came to Pagan holidays but my husband isn't a cook and we live so far away from his family so it's up to me to help him in his religion. While I don't necessarily participate in his rituals I have no issues with my own religion to help him with the cooking. This book has some great recommendations for festivities and it has very simple and delicious recipes. We had a delicious recipe from the book for Beltane that was lemon chicken with lavender lemonade. This book also has some how to guides on holidays. For example it explains the May Pole and what it symbolizes. This has been a great addition to my cook book collection.

I like that she touched base on all the Sabbaths in this book, with a few spells. I will use her recipes as a guide to cook foods related to each Sabbath. She discusses magical properties for the different herbs and spices also. There is not much else the book. Should have a different title. Almost misleading. It's a book of Sabbaths. Not much kitchen here. I do appreciate her way of cooking. As discussed in another review that was speaking negatively on this book and of the authors views on cooking from scratch. Reviewer stated this book made her feel guilty for not having enough time to feed her family in that way. That quote made me purchase this book because wether or not You have time to cook that way, it IS how we should be cooking. Especially if you want to follow a pagan/Wiccan life style "harm none". Processed foods are poisonous. It may not kill you with one bite, but poison it is. What magical recipes would YOU rather cook up in the kitchen? We can aways learn new skills. Even better when they are to are families benefit.

Every kitchen should have this book. I spend most of my time in the kitchen and I'm always looking for new and interesting ideas for things to make. This book was very well organized and laid out. I was almost afraid that some of the ingredients would have to be found in specialty shops but I have yet to come across anything like that in this book.

This book is laid out well, interesting, organized, and enjoyable to read. It has history, culinary and magical uses for herbs and spices, and many great recipes that are organized by each festival. The recipes are with common household foods, herbs and spices. I don't have to go searching for crazy, unheard of items.

This book is a great resource for someone starting out on a hearth/kitchen witch path, or for those building a library of Kitchen Witch resources. There is a chapter for each sabbat, with a variety of seasonal recipes for each, as well as corresponding crystals, incense, and a ritual. There are also resources on stocking a magical kitchen, basic recipes for cooking essentials (stock, bread, rice) a convenient herb and spice guide, and also a magical flower guide. The last chapter has information on natural cleaning, lotions and potions. It is only a few pages, so I wish this chapter could have been longer. I would have also liked to see a chapter on moon phases and cooking. Overall, this book is nothing groundbreaking, but it's nice to have all of this information in one place, and the recipes look good, easy, and seasonal (haven't tried any yet). The recipes have both US and Metric units, which is helpful. One of the things i love most about this book are the sweet illustrations on most of the pages. Overall, this is a beautiful addition to my cooking library.

The layout was easy to follow and gave inspiration for personal additions to the guided recipes. This book has made searching for recipes based on the season or sabbat exceptionally handy. I bought this thinking there would be "lotions and potions" as it says on the cover. Even though it doesn't have any lotion recipes I do enjoy it. It's informative to what food recipes are best for pagan traditions.

I purchased this book to use in a medical billing and coding class. I chose this copy because the class text I was using was by the same author/editor. Although this book has all the necessary printed information needed for the ICD-10-CM, it is somewhat difficult to use. This edition did not come with index tabs for each chapter in the manual, as is found in other ICD-10-CM manuals, nor is it color coded. The tabs and/or colored sections make for a much more efficient way to locate the codes necessary for the different projects and exercises within the course and for later use in actual billings. Thus, I ended up making my own which turned out to be a long and tedious task. See pictures below for homemade indexing. I would suggest finding a ICD-10-CM book that has tabs or at least color coding for easier code accessibility and efficiency.

Its fine all the idc-10 books have same info, this book is a basic student edition my class required. Its easy to use. I wish each section was color coded and tabbed. Its bined together which is great hard to tear, or loose page like spiral version. I got another icd- 10 book to use for state exam from aacp same people who give test.

This edition has most of the information needed for a novice coder. It tells you when extra characters are needed, but does not always tell you what is needed for a 7th character (when one is required) As a new student, this gave me some trouble. I ended up buying the professional edition which cleared up the character issue for me.

I was originally really happy with my purchase, but after using it i noticed that there a few pages in the back that have printer marks and it blacking out some of the information. not only annoying but now i can't see what the information is if i need it. will post photos later if i remember to.

Book is well organized. Has everything that you need.

Been using this for the past few weeks and I'm a believer in the "Reader's Bible" concept. It has lived up to the hype and more. Here is what I like about this set in summary:-This looks and feels like a premium book set. From the feel of the cloth to the quality of the paper. I expected the paper to be slightly thicker, but it is certainly adequate without much bleed. The off-white cream color of the paper is perfect.-Excellent text layout. The font is pleasing to the eye, the font size is just right, the margins and spacing spot on. They do not put too much text on one page, so it does not take forever to get to the next page. The total reading experience is pleasing with less reading fatigue. I am surprised how much faster I am able to read through the Bible. I can easily see myself reading through this set twice a year. I think there is great value in being able to get through the entire Bible with greater frequency as it allows one to see the big picture while also discovering new insights each time. Reading through more frequently also takes the pressure off having to understand every single detail while focusing on the overall theme the author is trying to convey.-There really is something to not having verses and chapters. It makes reading the Bible less overwhelming and fatiguing while being more flowing. But most importantly it encourages reading everything within context. I've found that having chapters and verses (which were not placed by the original Biblical writers) creates the tendency to see verses and chapters as isolated units rather than seeing the big picture. Not knowing where the chapters begin and end facilitates better sequential and contextual reading and I end up reading larger amounts effortlessly. I can honestly say that the improved reading experience has enriched my spiritual life.-If you want to start at a particular place or chapter however, there is an index at the back of each volume to indicate where each chapter begins.-Binding lays flat and comfortably in the hand. It might be a bit stiff out of the box, but it settles quickly.-ESV is an excellent translation all around and one of my favorites. Pleasing to read, yet faithful to the original. For a set like this I can't think of a version I would want more.-Slip case is very sturdy and it has grooves for each individual book to fit in its proper place.Negatives:-One criticism I have is that the gold on the binding will fade in no time especially since I hold the book in my hand. In just a few weeks I am noticing a slight fade in mine. I'm not bothered too much by this, and I don't expect my set to look pristine through the years. The best Bibles are the ones that are worn from extensive use.This set probably isn't for everyone. Those who NEED to know what the verses and chapters are will not like this set. But for those who want to be able to just sit and get lost into the text without worrying about making references, taking notes, etc. will really enjoy this. I have a separate time for doing more in-depth study where I even translate from the original languages and only read a handful of verses at a time, but otherwise I really like having the ability to just pick up this book and jump right into it without the distractions.

I have the cloth version of this product for two reasons. First, $114 is far more attractive than $500 for leather. Second, I actually prefer this to leather, despite the leather one coming with a black walnut case. If I become wealthy, I will invest in the leather version, but for now I'm content with this beautiful cloth design. I even like the graphics on the exterior of the case and the book spines. The format of this Bible makes reading larger portions of Scripture easy and pleasurable. No more getting distracted with chapter numbers, section headers, and footnotes. No more extremely thin pages, and no more tiny font. Just a simple and clear reading of the Word of God from an excellent translation. The page layout is highly similar to reading a novel, including the font size and page thickness (hence the necessity for this to be a six-volume set). I still enjoy my regular ESV, but for longer reading this is a wonderful and beautiful thing. The reading plan available to accompany this also helps me tremendously. For example, rather than today's reading plan instructing me to read Genesis 1-3, then tomorrow Genesis 4-6, etc., it instructs me to read pages 3-10. Day two is pages 11-17. Day three is pages 18-26, etc. The clear, unhindered reading of the text in the format offered with this product combined with the reading plan is turning out to be a nice and pleasant experience. This is a purchase that I'm glad to have made.

This stunning work by Crossway is second to none! From the moment I saw the video, I coveted the cloth set. It is okay to covet God's Word, right?!?! Having just received my set yesterday, I felt compelled to write my review immediately. This Bible set is not only a work of art but also a major accomplishment for facilitating a fresh reading of the Bible. And, although there are other translations I like better than the ESV, this ground-breaking format is nothing short of genius! A whole new generation of readers of God's precious Word will now be enabled to read His Word without the strain of small print and cluttered distracting challenge of the Bible format that has been the standard for too long. This Bible is a true reader's delight. And to that end, it fulfills is purpose in glorious fashion!As other reviewers have mentioned, the careful attention given by Crossway to packing the set to prevent damage in shipment of either the slipcase or its contents therein betrays their attention to every detail and is sure to guarantee the customer complete satisfaction.After having read the Gospels entirely, I have another issue and that's with the translation. In some places such as Luke 14:2 ESV still reflects the use of archaic terminology. the reference to "dropsy" is not modern in ANY sense! There are other places in the text where the translation sacrifices meaning for literalness such as "shields" which in fact signifies "leaders" at the end of Psalm 47:9.My only complaint is that when I removed volume III: Poetry from the slipcase, I observe a noticeable impression/crease across the upper third of the front cover (See photos below). It would appear that this is damage that was somehow overlooked at the publisher when pacakging the set for shipment to the seller. On account of this and the fact that the ESV rendering in its quest to be a literal translation certainly is not without its drawbacks is the reason for giving it a 4 out of 5 stars.

While it is true that this book contained some facts of which I was unaware it is dreadfully incomplete. It is essentially a book about Goering, and fails to do more than briefly mention any other defendant. The book is also strongly biased (I am not in support of the nazis nor ANY of their twisted ideology, but when reading history I prefer to have the facts reported and not be so strongly indoctrinated with the authors opinion) For a much more complete, comprehensive, and insightful read about the nuremberg trials and their notorious defendants I would strongly suggest reading Nuremberg Diary by G.M. Gilbert, or Nuremberg Interviews by Leon Goldensohn. Both of those books are primary sources and are enlightening.

For the price, this is a decent, basic introduction to the Nuremburg Trials. It will familiarize the reader with the event, the proceedings, the personalities and the outcome. As other reviews note, there are a few gaffs, but nothing major, that I saw. The content is orderly but the sections are a bit jagged and uneven in length. Many of the passages cited of witnesses anyone well versed in Nazi history will recognize from other books or from the documentary footage of the trials.The author does not excuse Speer, does not try to make a case for him.The summation goes off the rails a bit, mentioning other war crimes trials and briefly attempting to justify the lack of such trials for American crimes in Vietnam. He is unable to remain neutral in some passages and is guilty, in my eyes, of author intrusion into the story.But for its faults, it's a quick read and will tell you what you what you need to know about the subject.

I picked up this book with low expectations. After all I have a whole shelf of books dealing with the Nuremberg Trials which are detailed and well documented in reporting the most famous trial of the twentieth century. Paul Roland s The Nuremberg Trials was cheaply printed in Great Britain, It is a book which is very readable serving as a good general introduction to the gruesome subject for those readers whose knowledge of the trials is minimal. The cover of the book is a picture of Herman Goering the head of the Luftwaffe, clown jester at the Nazi court and a cruel Anti-Semitic administrator of the Nazi program of the mass extermination of the Jews of Europe. Goering wore red nail polish and acted like a sybaritic Roman emperor in the style of the decadent Nero. He committed suicide by taking a poison capsule a few hours before he was to be executed by hanging. The trial was presided over by two judges for each of the Allied nations:" the United States, Great Britain, France and the Soviet Union. Former US Attorney General Robert Jackson did a fine job as the chief prosecutor. Many of the pages in this book are sickening to read as we hear witness accounts of atrocities in the extermination camps. I will turn to this book to refresh my memory regarding the trials held at Nuremberg from 1945 to 1949. Roland s book is a good place to begin your study of the importance of the tribunal of justice at Nuremberg.

I was barely a year old when the initial trials convened in Nuremberg. I was older but only slightly wiser when Judgment at Nuremberg premiered. I was an adult flying protective sorties against our former ally, Soviet Russia during the Cold War. But only as a septuagenarian visiting Nuremberg just a few months ago did I finally appreciated and finally comprehend the ghastly dichotomy of this now pleasant city in southern Germany. Not far from Zeppelin Field and the infamous Nazi Stadium, the courts where the momentous trials, so well recorded and documented in this book, finally came into sharp focus and entered their proper place in historyThis Nuremberg Trials book helped to put these heroic legal efforts into proper perspective and made me realize why we refer to our fathers and mothers as members of the greatest generation...perhaps the most courageous, too.The book is definitely worth reading and the reflection it generates should remind us of George Santayana's words.

For anyone interested in the fate of the various Nazi war criminals after WWII, this book is an excellent overview. It's laid out well - it starts with details about how the trials came to fruition, who the judges were, and how the Allied powers worked together. It discusses the debate between trying the Nazis versus execution without trial. It details all of the Nazis who were tried in the first round of Nuremberg trials, what their roles were, and how they interacted with the judges, the prison psychologist, and each other. It also summarizes their sentences, the rationale for their sentences, and their reactions to their sentences. At the end, there are summaries of other trials that took place in Nuremberg but that were not as famous as the first trials (where Goering was tried).The Nuremberg Trials were lengthy and detailed; the author notes in this book how many of the prosecution and defense's arguments would go on for hours at a time. I was worried that the book would get bogged down with tedious trial details, but it did not.The only complaint I have about this book is that I found it hard to recall who some of the leaders were. I was familiar with Goering and several other defendants going into this book, but I had not heard of many of the others. Toward the beginning of the book, the author lists all of the defendants and what they are accused of; I recommend bookmarking these brief summaries for the people who you are unfamiliar with, so that you can reference them later.This is a great value for a Kindle book as well. Definitely a worthwhile and quick read.

There's some great info/interviews in here but you have to get past a couple glaring issues. First, this book spends an unbelievable amount of time advertising itself... while you're reading it. Page after page of, "when you get to the part of this book that..." and "This book is going to..." Ok... great... how about instead of repeatedly telling us what's in the book, we just skip to writing the book. The other issue is that the authors tend to work the purple prose too hard. For a book supposedly readable by younger/teenage goaltenders, there is an awful lot of $10 words used... language no teenage goalie is going to want to read and, frankly, I can't think of a lot of teenagers that would have the faintest clue what parts of the book are saying. If you can work past the overachieving language, the pages of telling you what's in the book, and some of the more touchy-feely stuff, there's actually some very interesting interviews, mental strategies, and ways of looking at playing the position that I found very helpful.

As parents of 2 goalies, we have read many "goalie instructional" books and have been very fortunate to have great goalie trainers and mentors. I only wish The Power Within was available 10 years ago. This is the definitive goalie guide that will elevate your game by educating your mind and mental processing to a new level. The dynamic relationship of the 3 Pillars for Goalies creates a positive and unique approach that any level goalie will benefit from and create new foundational strengths to build upon. The candid and open interviews with some of the world's best goalies and goalie educators/mentors provides important insight into real world application of the principles discussed. The book can be read by any level goalie, though provides a wonderful opportunity for parents to share in the position through the lens of "being behind the mask". Clearly, one of the best ways we as parents can show love and support to our goalie inspired children is to read the book with them - as a parent, I have been inspired and challenged by the writings not only in better understanding my son's position as a goalie, but also how to excel in my own professional career. The principles discussed and applied can positively impact the classroom, other sports, and relationships. Leadership, character development, forgiveness, and ego management apply to all walks of life. My favorite chapter is "Why being wrong is right". I would highly recommend this book to all goalies, their parents, any coach that comes in contact with goalies (all coaches) and defenseman - we expect much from our goalies; goalies expect much from themselves - finally the book that meets the challenge. Thank you to Mr Goldman and Mr Valley for a job well done and being vulnerable and insightful enough to bring the spiritual and emotional aspects to the printed page - as a world community of hockey players and families, we will all benefit on and off the ice - regardless of the scoreboard.M. This book is a tremendous resource for goalies of all ages. The mental aspect of goaltending is paid very little attention, especially in youth hockey. The lessons and strategies of this book address relevant questions and issues that face goalies of any level. The insights from some of the game's best have helped to drastically improve my approach to the mental game. It also serves as a great reference when I am looking for advice on a specific issue. Overall, this is a must read for any goalie looking to develop their mental game.

This book was recommended to me and my goalies from the fine team at G3 Lacrosse. Any lacrosse coach or goalie who has a desire to learn more and improve a goalie's 'mental game' should pick up a copy of this book ASAP! I've purchased three additional copies of the e-book for goalies at both the high school and collegiate level. The consensus from these athletes has been overwhelmingly positive!

This book is very, very special. My son is re reading it for the second time to soak in all the valuable information. It's an easie read for a 13 years old boy and has tought him mental skills that he uses every game. It helped me as a parent of a goalie to understand the fragile mind set of a goalie. This book is a bible of a goalie mental perspective. I highly recommend it .

Tough to give this stars... I see how you either love it or hate it. I got some good stuff out of this but this is legitimately written for outstanding goaltenders who want to be elite. There is ZERO content on "playing" the position, aside from some mental aides (tuning out distractions and conditioning your mind). I'm 42 yrs old and moved to net a year ago - was hoping to get a more mature perspective on the position as a whole. This is more of the spiritual perspective of goaltending. Really cool but they're not kidding when they say "elite". This is for the goalie who who is firing on all cylinders with technique, game IQ and physical ability but just wants more... None of those things are addressed.

Like: Everything about the Bermuda mystery.Dislike: Too short.Five stars because it was a very interesting book I have never read.I recommend it to everyone who likes to know a little more about mystery issues.

This was a fairly quick read for my 9 year old but she found its little scary. She no longer wants to fly anywhere that has to pass through the triangle. There were also other mysteries discussed in the book that freaked her out a bit, like the lock nest monster.

Bought this for my son to use for a school project. He enjoyed reading it.

Love this series! Great for kids and adults.
