I’m a customer of Robert Ramlal (Upland Car Pros, Houston, TX). I learned of this book from him because Walt was a customer of his for years too.I’m no stranger to self-rescue and doing my own auto repairs. I spent most of a decade off-roading (aka, 4x4’ing) in the Alaska wilderness where my friends and I would get stuck or break our trucks and have to fix them ourselves. After all that, I found this book contained a lot of good information that I did not previously know. It’s written is layman’s terms. There’s nothing too technical in his book and the repairs he describes don’t require specialized, expensive equipment. Walt says right in the book that this book is about temporary, emergency roadside repairs necessary to get you out of harm’s way, back on the road, and to your mechanic. Nearly all the advice and techniques he shares require almost NO mechanical aptitude at all. So even the most mechanically intimidated don’t need to be afraid of this book. These are things that YOU CAN DO!This book is a MUST HAVE for every motorist, needless to say it’s a must have for every prepper. I was pleasantly surprised by this book, and will be giving this book as a gift to friends and family. Easy reading, actionable advice, with very little mechanical ability required. There’s no reason not to get this book.There’s only 2 things I would add. First, having been in 2 car fires (once as driver and once in the passenger seat), I think a fire extinguisher is essential gear. Walt only mentions a fire extinguisher in passing in his list of extra non-essential equipment. While it’s highly UNLIKELY you’ll ever need one, when you do, it can mean the difference between a damaged, perhaps disabled and undriveable vehicle and...losing EVERYTHING in the car and the car itself!Second is a first-aid kit. Every vehicle should have one. Too easy to get cuts and burns repairing a vehicle on the roadside.

Good job, Walt. I was already knowledgeable about the material, but still found it useful. If you ever do a revised edition, here is a suggestion... The tip for out-of-gas situations, where the car has ended up on a tilt and the fuel pump suction in the gas tank is now uncovered, and you say to rock the car to slosh fuel over to the suction, great tip. But you might continue that to tell the reader that after the car now starts, immediately move it back to level ground because gravity never stops working. The car will die again right away as the fuel runs downhill again. This will be obvious to the mechanically inclined like me, but not likely to the average non-mechanical driver.It was interesting to hear your experiences and how often each type of break-down happened.It is very generous of you to give your time and expertise to help people. If I help anyone, I would also not expect to be paid, except for any fuel I would provide. People ought to pay for the gas they get. That's only fair to you. I especially hope you don't give free gas to people driving a BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, and the like.

Walt's book was a recent success for me as I purchased 2 copies as Christmas gifts for our two recently licensed grandchildren.It reads quickly but immediately emphasizes how drivers can do themselves big favors by quickly becoming better prepared for the problems seen everyday on the roadways.Walt has made this written record of recommendations based on his daily "good deeds assisting motorists he encounters locally". Within the last 30 years, after working in the health field as a medical professional and obtaining a copy of the first edition of this very helpful guide, this book is outstanding in every aspect as a valuable reference to emergency situations, where no other help is available. Although I have collected hundreds of books that cover this topic, I felt this one is extremely useful for my daughter to have in her home. This handbook outlines several conditions for one to identify with as it offers step-by-step instructions, with solutions for unexpected health problems. This informative guide also prepares for any disaster, where help is not on the way. It is specifically designed for the non-medical professional to help deal and cope with unexpected issues during emergencies. Some of the topics covered are fractures, nosebleed, chest pain, and much more. Dr. Joseph Alton highlights several medical conditions, covering over 100 medical issues. In addition, he provides information on how to handle different situations, what to look for, and how to treat. This is a valuable, essential reference book for every home. Highly recommended!

My husband and I live on a farm. Our purpose in doing so was to leave all the trappings of the corporate America lifestyle. With nothing but optimism, we gladly gave up the old lifestyle in favor of the new one. We didn't kid ourselves; we knew it wouldn't be a piece of cake, but we were ready to put in the work. What was the one thing we hadn't considered living deep in the backwoods? Emergency medicine. Our farm is at the top of a mountain and we fall all the time. Most falls result in bruises and nothing more. Twice, however, my falls have required stitches. What if... We often ask ourselves what if questions. What if my husband hadn't been there and I couldn't drive myself to the emergency room? What if he were home and the roads were blocked, which happens in the boonies all the time--especially after a major thunderstorm or a tropical storm/hurricane? We bought The Survival Medicine Handbook both on Kindle (for tips on what to stock up on and to educate ourselves) and the printed version for emergencies. I can't recommend this book more highly. It is really jam packed with extremely valuable information--both for the emergency and for preparing ourselves in the event of one. Every family should have one. Whether you live in the city, the suburbs or in the backwoods, you don't know when access to a hospital will be hindered. It's truly a must have!

There is a lot to wade through in this book. The author, a physician, clearly states that a lot in his book should be done if there is no disaster and hospitals with medical personnel are NOT available. Doing otherwise many medical procedures in his book is clearly practicing medicine without a license. When disaster of some kind strikes - earthquake, violent riots and lots of firearms used, perhaps an EMP strike with a missile from a freighter, whatever the extreme situation - then this book will be invaluable. He also gives lists of supplies to have in a survival medic kit and to start patiently putting together and acquiring NOW and get more medical training if possible. He also emphasizes developing a positive attitude about disasters now, a "gloom and bloom" mindset, not a negative "gloom and doom." The Achilles heel of the the U.S. is over reliance on computers to do everything. Once some malevolent hacker or country that hates the U.S. finds a way to shut down the electrical power from the Mississippi River to the East Coast or worse, and does it, using this book to be prepared for it will pay off well.

The love this book - (and as the author admits) this is a huge book of everything you need to consider and prepare for; IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE A CAMP OR COMMUNITY MEDIC. It is a great planning guide with lots of considerations. This is not a how to practice or administer survival medicine. You will need a much more comprehensive book for that. This a a guide for all you to have a list of all the things you have to be ready for. I have to redo a lot of what I had and have to add a bunch of things I had not considered before. Great guidebook!

I was surprised by how much of this I already knew, but then I am not the normal customer I think. If you need to develop a basic understanding of first aid and survival medicine, especially some tricks on what to stock and what to grow, this is a good book for you!If you are already know basic first aid, you are pretty far down the road. The book is still useful, because of the tips the nurse gives about gardens and medical herbs. Further the Doc give you some pre-made letters for your Doctor to view. These are helpful in winning over a Doctors confidence in allowing you to stockpile critical meds, like diabetic sugar control, blood pressure control, etc.Lastly there is a section on recommended books and research that will be really helpful for advancing your knowledge.All in all, it was good to read the words of a Doctor and Nurse team that get it. They don't think anybody is a kook for preparing for a societal meltdown. They understand that within 48 hours, disease will be the greatest killer of people and build the book with that in mind.One more "neat" thing is the Doctor maintains a website where he demonstrates many of the techniques that will be useful in survival medicine.Four stars instead of five because I thought the book would have a bit more detailed information. But now I realize I should have read the title more clearly. It does say, "Survival Medicine Handbook," not "Doctorate Degree in Surgery." My bad.This IS the place to start if you have no real knowledge of medicine. Ordering this book is recommended just for its resources on purchasing much needed supplies from "unusual sources."You won't be sorry you bought it in any case.Jeff

I bought this book for my grandson and I love it! There is too much negativity about wanting to make America great again so it's extremely refreshing to find a positive book about an administration that is working for us! It is so important to teach our children about our true history and I want to let my grandson know about my participation in making America great again for him. I have become politically involved since the Great Awakening and I love that the rallies were mentioned. I've been to two rallies and I'll go to more. Many people do not realize that we are at war on a global scale. If the United States survives, I want my grandson to know why and this book is a great start.

I have a 6 year old son who remembers his parents getting excied about the election in 2016, but was confused as to what was going on. This illustration does a fantastic job of explaining the awe that gripped America in simple terms. My son is more prepared and learned than his peers about our President and he told me he couldnt wait to vote when his time comes! So MAGA Kids is kind of like a civics class too! The author/illustrator, Sgt Crowley sounds like a true American who served in the military for the freedoms we enjoy as well as made money following his passions and talents. I hope this book gets sequals- I can see a “MAGA Kids: Tax Cuts” on the horizon..

Excellent book! My granddaughters loved it. They learned some new words (acronym, veteran, etc.). Educational and easy for young minds to understand. Highly recommend this book. And I was happy to support an American Vet who wrote it‼️

My 8yr had questions of what MAGA meant, so I bought her this book and after she rid it she tells me oooooohhhh now I know! She's passing it around the family kids.

Images aren't very impressive, not something that a young child would understand. However I was very please to finally find a book designed for kids to understand and support our Republican president. If nothing else, it's a great gift to annoy those liberal relatives.

Pictures are blurry and not clear. Cute idea but for price pictures are not good

I don't have any issues with the overall book but some of the pages look very pixelated. I see other people in the reviews had the same problem. I thought it might've been a bad batch they printed but I just ordered mine a few weeks ago and it's the same issue..

The truth always comes out, and the hero always loses his… heart. The fun part is in the endless variety of personalities and situations each author brings to the story. And River Laurent brings that, every time.After I got past that spider… I was fine. Really I was. I didn’t even think of arachnids when I ventured into my bathroom in the middle of the night. Really. Ahem.This book made me laugh out loud in places, and cringe in others. It may have made me starry-eyed a time or two… And it definitely made my Kindle steam up. Here and there. 5 stars.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book CEO & I what an amazing read you will just love these characters it was a very entertaining read. Luke Remington is a billionaire he has woman whenever and wherever he wants but no attachments and his one rule us no fratranizing with his secretaries. Jade Emerson applied to work for Luke but was denied because he would only hire a married woman and not attractive so he wouldn't be tempted he was all about his business. Jade and Luke were headed to Bangkok to do some business she was his right hand made all his arrangements, schedules, joined all his meetings he wasn't attracted to her at all but she was totally infatuated with Luke. Luke and Jade were in there connecting hotel rooms when Luke heard a blood curtiling scream and went to see what happened he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Jade with a barely there towel covering her wet body no glasses and she was drop dead gorgeous. Jade told him there was a humongous spider in her bath tub when he looked it was huge she said it was a monster there banter back and forth about the whole thing was laugh out loud funny. This is a must read story you definitely don't want to miss there is miscommunication, scorching hot erotic sex scenes, River Laurent wrote an amazing story and the characters were totally awsome I highly recommend for you read this book as I just couldn't put it down till I was finished. I even bought it for my oldest daughter to read.

I liked the idea of this story.. but not so much the presentation. The story starts after she has already been hired and been working there awhile in her 'disguise'. He accidentally sees her on a business trip and starts falling for her. So.. it would have been a more fun story for me to read if he fell for her in spite of what he thought she looked like honestly. I would have enjoyed the build up of reading of when and how they met and how he became interested in her as she worked for him. But this is not that story.

Amazing what a woman can do when she puts her mind to it. When Jade applied for the job she found out that the owner would only hire an unattractive married female. So she disguised herself and became as unattractive looking as she could. It worked because he never paid her any attention. Until........... a business trip out of the country when he hears her scream and rushes to her room to find out what is wrong. A spider is in her bathroom but she's only wearing a skimpy towel, her hair is down and her coke bottle glasses are gone. Can you say gorgeous. Needless to say, things heat up from there. But there's lots of drama along the way and a roller coaster of emotions. Luke has lots of baggage he's dealing with and it causes problems in their relationship.. Lots of steamy sex and finally an HEA after a long and bumpy journey. Great book. I voluntarily reviewed this book after reading a promotional copy.

Hot & steamy! Every time I get a book from this author I just know it's going to be hot! I was right a hot office romance wow!!!! What happens when you go on a trip with your hot boss and he thinks your married? You get drunk and confess to him everything!! Omg what a great book all the twists and turns and the hotness!!!

Anything you can imagine about a employer/employee romance is in this book. Utterly predictable and boring.

I gave five stars to this book, because even though the CEO & I was good, the bonus book was Cinderella.com; loved the characters, Lars and Cash's story, I was sad to finish it.

I loved Jade and Luke. Their banter was fun and seeing their relationship grow was amazing! Loved this book. I’ll definitely be rereading this.
