The composition of chapters differs between the English and Greek text versions, and there is no reference to the original Greek chapters in the English version. E.g. when I tried to find the out what was translated as "fear" and "pity" in in Poetics (fobou, eleou) I had to consult a different edition, because it was to time consuming to find the correct paragraph.Other than that, it's a great and affordable book. But, if it is important to you to find the Greek concept easily, and you don't have the time or skill to go through the entire Greek text, consider getting a version with better referencing.
When I was a young student I had to go to a library and look for the appropriate Loeb editions. Often quite time consuming. The publications of Delphi Classics are incredible. Both Greek and English texts for hardly any money. I also do find that it is quite easy to look up references found in books about the classics. That most English translations may be a bit old fashioned does not matter. In the beginning of the last century there were still a lot of scholars who were capable of doing this kind of translation and they were willing to spend years to finish it.
I really like this Kindle edition of the Complete Works of Aristotle. It has a nice index that lets you navigate among the works and the translation is good. I've been immersed in Aristotle since I got it and have pretty much laid my other hardcopy Aristotle books to rest. One of the great features of course of an electronic edition is the ability to search it.
I once knew a man with an I.G. of 185, I was fascinated by the way he functioned in his life. As I read Aristotle, I am reminded of my earlier friend. He saw relationships in many facets of every thing from words to nature that were not apparent to me until he commented them. If you have a limited reading program, then this should be a must read.
My significant other feels this is a guide for his life. It is a bit difficult to read for me but I am glad my dearly beloved enjoys this gift.
Poorly formatted
This is a basically a cheap print-out of the Kindle edition, printed out in 3-point font type. It is basically impossible to read. Do not buy this under any circumstances.
Think if he was alive today he would definitely be a Statistician/Mathematician. Amazing ground breaking work for the time which laid the foundation for many philosophers and empiricists of the modern era.
